Our experienced coaches have a wide range of knowledge across different business sectors. Many are certified in Lumina Learning products and other coaching tools and technologies. Several have teaching experience, working with the next generation of professionals, managers and leaders.

Pat O'Connell
Pat O’Connell is a career technologist, educator and rock star!
Well, a rock star in his head, especially when he is on stage with his band and when he's working with his clients.
Pat has over 20 years in technology and investment banking, culminating as a Regional CIO for a large broker dealer. Since embarking on his second career, Pat has launched three companies providing advisory consulting, honest brokering and coaching to clients in several industries and geographies.
Since 2002, Pat has been an Adjunct Professor at Columbia University in New York and has shared his subject matter expertise as a guest speaker and student mentor.
When not playing and singing with his band, Pat serves on advisory boards, and many non-profit boards. He holds degrees from University College Cork, Ireland.

Dawn C. Joy is a true innovator in her work. She specializes in the design and delivery of creative learning and development interventions for her client’s unique needs.
With a results-oriented focus, Dawn provides expertise in individualized communication strategies and support, team facilitation, and workplace spirit development, serving many industries including corporate business, government agencies, health care, higher education, and information technology.
Having earned a PhD in Organizational Learning and Leadership, Dawn is also a certified business psychologist, having earned this designation from the Association of Business Psychology. In addition, she is an accredited practitioner for Lumina Learning™, a global provider of innovative development solutions for individuals, teams and organizations, through an integrated suite of digital psychometric resources.

Vanessa is a nationally recognized thought leader and results-driven consultant and coach providing advisory services and hands-on expertise, strategic planning, technical assistance, outcome-based evaluations, training, and curriculum development in areas of community and economic development, consumer finance, homebuyer education and counseling. Vanessa has worked with clients and partners in over 40+ states across the U.S. and the Virgin Islands in corporate, non-profit, small business and government.
Vanessa is an alumnus of the Goldman Sachs 10K Small Business program, a certified Minority, and a Women-Owned Enterprise business owner. In her experience in the Financial Services space, she has been a State Farm Insurance & Financial Services Agent, achieving numerous awards for outstanding sales and customer service. She began leading teams and organizations at fourteen years old and continues today, increasing efficiencies and outcomes.
